As part of International Park(ing) Day, Friday, September 17, 2010 Surroundings is creating a miniature park at the corner of Don Gaspar and Alameda. Our Park(ing) space will feature xeric plantings and demonstrate permeable paving proposed within parking spaces to help hydrate the parks along the city's river corridor. Stop by and visit us there.
Surroundings will be exhibiting current work in the "Landscape Architecture in New Mexico" show at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture + Planning Gallery. Opening night is Friday, September 10th from 5-6pm and the show will run until September 30th, 2010.
Kenneth Francis will be presenting "El Parque del Rio: New Methods for Stormwater Management along the Santa Fe River" at the 2010 EPA Region 6 Stormwater Conference on June 28th, 2010 at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center at 9:30am.

09.28.2011 Galisteo Modern Residential Landscape Project wins ASLA 2011 Award. Faith Okuma was Principal-in-Charge for the project while a partner with Campbell Okuma Perkins Associates, later acquired by Design Workshop.
